From December 12th to 13th, the induction training for new faculty members in Shenyang Institute of Technology in 2023 was held in the lecture hall of School of Information and Control. Hu Xiaomei, Party Secretary, and Li Kangju, President, reported on the work training for new employees. 193 new teachers from 22 departments of the whole school participated in the training.

At the meeting, Hu Xiaomei made a report entitled "Learning and Comprehending Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Being an Excellent Teacher Satisfied by the Party and the People in the New Era", requiring the newly recruited faculty and staff to deeply understand the great changes in the new era, and the most fundamental thing is that General Secretary Xi Jinping is at the helm and has the scientific guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the construction of the teacher team is the fundamental and important guidance for comprehensively promoting the construction of the teacher team in the new era. I hope that everyone will bear in mind the "great man of the country", abide by professional norms, resolutely defend the strong position of soul casting and educating people, and make due contributions to the new breakthrough of Liaoning's comprehensive revitalization.

In the report, Principal Li Kangju explained the school's development goals, school spirit, school-running philosophy, cultural concept and school governance strategy in depth. It is hoped that the trainees will actively participate in the development and construction of the school's "14th Five-Year Plan", achieve both ability and political integrity, and put morality first. Continuously cultivate professional thinking and improve professional quality. The training included six special training sessions on "Teacher Growth and Development Support", and the heads of relevant departments of the school interpreted in detail the rules and regulations and requirements of personnel management, teaching arrangements, scientific research, financial regulations and student work.

After the training, the trainees visited the School History Museum of our school in three groups.
